About this print

Winds of Adversity reflects the resistance encountered on the path of self-discovery. The lone figure is pressed back by raging winds, their force almost pleading with him to turn away from the unknown. In this moment of struggle, doubt takes hold. The temptation to retreat weighs heavily against the call to continue forward. The work captures this fragile pause, where the choice between surrender and perseverance defines the journey ahead.

Ink and paper

Piezography® Pro is the highest quality black and white fine art digital printmaking process available today. The carbon pigment-based inks used create prints with incredible detail and archival quality. The inks are applied to the paper using a piezoelectric printhead controlled by a specialist RIP (Raster Image Processor) software, which allows for precise control of the ink deposition through the use of tailor-made paper ‘curves’.

Museum Etching – a natural white, 100% cotton paper – guarantees archival standards. The etching paper features a distinct textured surface. With its premium matt inkjet coating Museum Etching meets the highest industry standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness while preserving the special touch and feel of genuine art paper.
